Yeah Im pretty sure the outlaws use that side of the arena too. see below [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ATaN-XYpeww"]Outlaws video[/ame]
They might have played a couple of games in the hockey side but didn't play a single one last year in that. Alan, you are probably right that it "seats" 2300. I don't know for a fact. But if you look at the above video there are a lot of standing room sections on both goal ends and a top part running along one side of the rink. I've been to a Brahmas game (vs Allen Americans) where the place had 3900+ tickets sold and then the shuffled about another 100 into the bar to watch on the tv screens. I used to work with Mike Barack (now called "Obama" by his players) and he told me they had a good night with over 3900 tix sold. The place was a zoo. People were parking on the grass outside and on the baseball diamond across the road. I'm just saying, the place would be good for MISL. Its a pity Dallas couldn't make it work. I now go there every 8-10 weeks for business and took in a number of Outlaws and Brahmas games last year. ( And TRIED to go to an ABA game but thats another story for another board. )
I'm not picking on Cleveland. That was just a shot at Gamera. These days I'm not picking on the MISL either, I am just taking shots at Soccer-Man and Redhawk. Someone has to stick up for truth and reality and fairness.
The announcements this week will be coming from Lebron James, Dwayne Wade and Chris Bosh. Don't forget that the MISL doesn't want to upstage the World Cup final!
oh ya - good call - guess we will have to wait until - oh wait the all star baseball game is next week we may have to wait until after that
ok new to this site but i am huge indoor fan Baltimore blast is my team been watch them since i was born no spirit days for me though but i was seeing whats the latest news on the MISL and new teams
we are all still waiting on the news Well we will not hear anything this week for sure as Lebron is expected to make his news like Wednesday or Thursday
every one here tell the truth we dont know squat the misl gods know as much as we do , we are in no better shape the the league was in a year ago so dont expect anything soon if we were going to expand it would of been done by now as for holding off the anouncement because of the world cup is stupid its the best time since every one is watching soccer right now the misl is being ran like the orioles the are both on a sinking ship
Why don't the misl and the pasl just join together indoor soccer is hard to run why have two different leagues when we can have one big one
Because, at the end of the first season, there would only be about 5-6 teams left, if that many; the rest would have folded, or be on their way to folding.
b/cause brownbelt there r philosophically and FINANCIAL differences b'tween the misl and pasl also i talked to some1 in the mwk wave office bout 30-45 mins ago looks like all 5 2009-10 misl teams will b back PLUS pending misl approval , kansas city will b the 6th misl franchise
Name your sources! We try to have a little more journalistic integrity around here, what do you think this is… FOX NEWS. I hear Soccer-Man is up for a Pulitzer Prize in journalism for some of his postings.
San Diego is the only one I want, possibly Stockton. SD seems like the best run squad on and off the field. The rest...............no thanks. Louisville maybe if they moved out of Mockingbird.
Sorry but I am always a little skeptical of team office news what somebody says and what actually happens can be 2 different things Look at the Storm - if you spoke to them one week everything was fine and then the next they were folding I am a "have to see it" to believe it kind of person I ordered a jersey the other day but until it gets to my house it is not MY jersey
