    From the official site -

Royals striker Kevin Doyle has won the official readingfc.co.uk / Foster's player of the month award for November.

Doyle scored three goals in five League appearances in as Steve Coppell's men soared to the top of the Championship, and he took 36.7% of votes cast here at the Club's official site, narrowly holding off second-placed Glen Little on 34.3%.

Little was also pipped to the official Powerade Championship player of the month award on Sunday, with Stoke's striker Sam Bangoura the winner.

Boss Coppell earned his second successive Championship manager of the month award last week, while goalkeeper Marcus Hahnemann was voted BBC South's footballer of the year this weekend, ahead of the other nominees - Portsmouth's Lomano Tresor LuaLua and Bournemouth's Steve Fletcher.

Presenter Roger Johnson said, "It's a richly deserved award for Marcus, who is the rock on which Reading are building a team fit for the Premiership. He commands the respect and confidence of his team mates.

"Marcus arrived early for the awards - sipped water all evening - and was still there chatting to other guests long after the ceremony had finished. His modest and approachable nature makes him an excellent role model for all aspiring footballers."

So far this season Reading's players of the month have been Bobby Convey, Ibrahima Sonko Brynjar Gunnarsson and now Doyle.

This is pretty cool. Had just seen it on the site. Congrats to Marcus. Does he get Readings footballer of the year during the same period? Probably not. A prophet in his own town sort of thing...I'd think this covers quite a few teams, anyone know how many?
