Because MLS that's why. No pirlo, no giovinco, no G2S.

Well it all worked out. I can still post pics like

in reference to America winning 4 titles in 4 years w/ 4 different managers. So it all worked out!! 5 titles would have messed that up

Andrea Pirlo: MLS has too much running, too little play

Former Italy midfielder Andre Pirlo said that U.S. players are not taught technical skills at an early age and that ultimately affects the quality of play in Major League Soccer.

The 37-year-old, who is in his second season with New York City FC, said that more needs to be done at the youth level to bring professional soccer in the United States on par with Europe.

"It's a very hard league to play in. It's very physical, there's a lot of running. So there is a lot of physical work and to me, in my mind, too little play," Pirlo told Reuters at a MLS promotional event. "What I'm talking about is actually a system or culture. I don't mean that the level of technical skills are low. I just mean there is a cultural void that needs to be filled."

Basically England cerca 1990, w/actual ballers like Gascoigne (and Barnes before him) being the exception rather than the rule.

Not a Manchester fan, but thank god that man is gone.
Just seems like a prick. Man U with Mourinho will be much more likable.

Can't believe that man defeated us in the 2014 world cup. I take that back, el Piojo defeated us..

Not really a good comparison. England had technically decent footballers who happened to favor a physical game. MLS doesn't have very many technically decent players and the ones they have aren't produced in the US.

If it's true that Uruguay and Colombia want Sanchez and Cardona now and to miss the finals. I hope the FMF can tell them to go fvck themselves. Are they going to ask for Godin/Gimenez and James to miss the Champions league final? Hope somebody realizes that.

they replace one defensive/boring manager with another defensive/boring manager who likes to blame the ref for any loss

doesn't seem like a very likable or sensible decision to me
