answering every question I had been wondering recently. it's wild that there's three divisions and their second division is over 2x as large as ours, and that the J1 provides funds for amateur teams who want to become professional (in division 3) especially considering none of this started until 1992

seeing how good their euro players are, not one has been sold for more than 7million including their premier league players. for reference pachuca wouldn't accept any less than 8 million for 28 year old Chavez. in their recent callup where the beat Germany and turkey they only had 4 local players.

I'm surprised pardo and Osorio didn't open more doors for Mexicans in Germany as the Japanese but I suppose this video showed there was some connection there as far back as the 70s. it's funny that they also struggled to produce goalkeepers as well. also admirable how they're open to learning from everyone and not just 'let's try to emulate Argentina', long term vision, seemingly much less selfish handling of players from clubs, and much more opportunity with so many teams and so many players leaving. the opposite of Mexico it seems

Team above all else. You see that with their baseball team also. It's a great culture for following and perfecting existing processes. There's no way they'd ever choose ours.

Our downfall is that we're ruled by corrupt oligarchs that are too close to the USA and absorb their culture instead of seeing the course with the european (rest of the world) structure of multiple divisions with preomotion and relegation.

We're going to be mediocre for as long as we're alive. Outside of serendipity and a run of craps luck, the conversation will be the same in 40 years.

Cold-hearted midget fanboy if this doesn’t bring a tear to your eyes. We don’t deserve the GOAT.

No surprise the Nads are applauding Pepi for it. Cut to "they must be anti american" when they learn the PSV crowd booed Pepi for being a dolt.
