There was a rumor that Uruguay was gonna send a sub-23 but I think that it was false. I can't wait for that game, I'll be there.
Lavolpe is full of sh%t. He is always bitching about how we all know what Cuathemoc Blanco does and how he doesn´t need a call up but he keeps calling the same people, who should have proven already. Why doesn´t Blanco get one call and Octavio Valdez gets call after call. He bitches about not having any goal in his team. Yet Altamirano has 3 goals, Mora has 6 and Iñiguez has 6 but they don´t get called. But Osorno and Rubirosa have 1 goal combined, and they get called. Arce has blown chunks since joining Atlante and he gets called. Altamirano played well when he got called, can score and doesn´t get called, meanwhile Salazar was horrid against Peru, and has done squat in Atlas, and gets call after call. Lavolpe worst thing is his player selection and he is lucky that there were a lot of thing that distracted attention from his list.
It's definately an under 23 team, unfortunately I can't link to the article that I saw where the team was anounced, it's all domestic league players too, a couple of pretty good guys like Bueno and Sosa who play for the senior team will be there. It's basically to help them get ready for the Olympic qualifiers. I don't know much about your players, is this a pretty good roster for you guys? I think that my cousins and I are going to be the only three Uruguayos at the game.
