This should be a fairly easy game for Mexico, South Africa is bringing young players. I predict a Mexico 2-0 South Africa.

What I heard on Los Protagonistas the starting lineup will be:

    Muñoz
    Osorio, Maza and Salcido
Altamirano, Chiquis  , Israel Lopez,Zinha and Pineda(i think)
    Borgetti and R. Marquez Lugo

Los Protagonistas never get it right. They said that Munoz and Marquez Lugo were going to start against Germany for 3rd place and it didnt happen. I wouldnt be surprise if LaVolpe gives the first game to Munoz, then Corona and finally Ochoa against Jamaica. I also doubt that Salcido and Borgettin will play since they said they were going to sit out some games. I want to see Padilla and J. Garcia team up.

last night on contacto deportivo they said the forwards are going to be Bravo and Borgetti, and the goalkeeper is going to be Corona.

On esmas.com they have this same lineup as well. According to the website the only doubt Lavolpe has is in the goal.
I agree with all of you that chiquis shouldnt start... hell, he should not have come but oh well.
I would switch chiquis with Loquito and bench Borgetti in favor of either Padilla or Bravo.

I would think starting a different goalkeeper for every group match would be a good idea... just like what Germany did at the Confed. It would be pretty interesting, all three of them are solid on the net.

About Chiquis starting... wtf, when will Lavolpe get it through his head that Chiquis isn't World Cup material?

I think what Lavolpe is doing is trying to find someone to compliment Borgetti. That is why he is here and will be playing. Considering that Jared cemented his spot in the World Cup next year with his performance in the Confed Cup (barring any injuries of course or any substantial drop in his play) the other spot may just be a revolving door until someone clicks with him and provides what Kikin did not. Otherwise there would be no reason to have Borgetti on the squad at all. Oh yeah and Lavolpe wants me to see Jared break the record in person too. ;)

I would like to see Omar Bravo and el loco garcia up front, and then sub one of them for paddila. Also corona should be the goldkepper or memo there both as good.

if ur trying people why putting Borgetti in the starting lineup again? shouldnt he try Bravo or el loquito..we can't always depend on Borgetti's header and the team has 2 more good forwards...

i have no idea what kind of team SouthAfrica it's bringing...so i think Mexico will take it 2-1
