If I was the coach I would be working on through passes and mid range shots. We get too predictable with the crosses, lets do something different.

He was victimized at least 4 times that I can remember.

Yes, through balls and long shots are essential, especially when the balls are as swervy as they are now. It is sad to me that during SGE and with Pardo, Leandro, Guardado and Arce all playing, knowing how good they are from distance, rarely did these guys turn it loose from the outside. That has to stop.

twice in that game futbolfan posted, once in liguilla of 2006, and another i think in a regular league game

    Ochoa is Guardado's bitch! :D

The funny thing is, in one of the world cups (94 maybe?), almost all of our goals were from long distance,

I remember being frustrated because we couldn't score in the run of play from inside the box.

    speaking of long distance shooting.

i remember his 45 yard shot que se comio le pulpo.

and his goal against italy is his second best moment after he broke the goal.

He needed the rest. I have no issue with that. He doesn't have to prove anything to anybody. Aguirre needs to find guys to take the pressure off of him.

pull what shit together? one goal in the last four games, which came as a result of magallon's amateur display of defending. he had a great save in the guadeloupe game and has done his job otherwise

Agreed. He hasn't had much to stop, but he's stopped what he should have. Although, he was partly (not very much) to blame for that one goal.

i think what austin23 is trying to say is that he has been pretty shaky, not necessarily in these last four games, but in previous matches with el tri, and his performance in america.
we wants ochoa to be at the top of his level like he was a few years ago..

Horrible freakin lineup. Put Medina in Jagger's spot and Franco and Vela up front. Ridiculous! I have lost faith in Aguirre. The guy has lost it. Also why two contenciones.

agree with those changes. although it is obvious that vasco is trying to go with a consistent lineup. i really doubt he'll start two guys who haven't played at all this entire tourny (vela played what 10 minutes?), even if they are way better than sabah or bravo.

also, what does he see in ismael rodriguez? this guy doesn't even deserve to start on america. i'd rather see duenas or topo over this douche.
