Hello. Here's an update on Ricardo Sanchez of the Minnesota Thunder. He has started all three of the team's regular season matches, playing Left Wing Midfield in a 4-4-2. In 239 minutes, he has one assist from his first start, the only Thunder goal in a 2-1 road loss to Portland. He has one goal, a PK game winner in a 1-0 victory against Vancouver. Yeah, IIRC Mario García also previously played in the Italian Serie C. The only time I've seen him play was for Chicó against Audax Italiano in the preliminary round of this years Copa Libertadores.
Mario García's team, Boyacá Chicó has just won the Colombian league title on penalties against América de Cali. Unfortunately, García wasn't able to play in today's match but was a key player all season long. Edit: They just interviewed him on Gol TV and the announcer said he would like to return to México in the future.
