See anything about the game last night?

Newsday Sunday had a 3/4 page article/picture of last nights game with an actual staff writer. Below this article was an AP WWC article.

Kudos to Newsday for this one...... Must have bypassed the Sunday editor :)

Link to the aforementioned Newsday article

    From Jonny Walker:

It notes that the first Metro shot was in the 50th minute. Seriously, that is a fking joke.

Where's the usual gem of a press release rewrite from Ives Galarcep/JerzyRebel?

Maybe he was too tired from a long week of hiding behind an Internet message board name deciding who is a "moron" and who should be "shot in the head" for having and posting their own opinions on Big Soccer to bang one out last night.

Did they just mention something abut a soccer game last night on the Jets telecast?

Yeah Dierdorf was talking about how it was a full weekend of sport at the Meadowlands. He mentioned a big soccer game last night, Jet's today and Giants tomorrow. Then he said thank goodness for field turf which based on the awful sod from last year I might have to agree. Three straight games like that along with the downpour would have killed it.

wow. To be honest I am shocked that they even mentioned that there was a soccer game there last night. Not that anyone could tell by the lines on the field.

I guess it would have been too much for him to mention it was a metrostars game ehh? lol
