to think the DCU fans were bitching (but that's redundant) when Dempsey had his baseball HR celebration..
This one (Eskandarian's) is classless IMHO..Drinking a RB can and spitting it out in supposed disgust?....Maybe next time RB scores vs. DC, someone ought to bring a DC jersey , place it on the field....drink a can of Red Bull and then pee all over the jersey.... Hey, just an idea ;) ... BTW, there is a 7-second delay in the broadcast, right? :p

    Bitter much? ;)

As a DC fan, I thought the Clint Dempsey celebration was f'ing hilarious, as did a good deal many United fans.

    Lighten up Francis..

And that drinking the red bull act is real premeditated, had to have an accomplice on the sideline; anyway,

Let's hope NY can regroup and get back into the game.

Don't forget that Alecko is a Metro fan. Maybe he's against the takeover. :)

Mitts just said it was already thought up of...the first scorer was going to do it.

    Me too.

I don't mind celebrations (soccer or elsewhere) that are at least originial, like Dempsey going to home plate after scoring against D.C. at RFK and hitting a home run.

the Red Bull folks are gonna have a word with the league about that stunt!

"We have ways to make you drink!"
"You will learn to swallow and not spit!"

at least it wasn't a Sierra Mist.

Who cares? They're paid professionals, not U-12s.

Yeah, but professionals get cards for taking off their shirts.

I'd bet that if you took a poll of female fans, you'd find about a 98-2 margin favoring Landon Donovan's abs over Esky's spit.

I thought the celebration was hilarious. Up there with Dempseys "Stop, drop, and roll" against Chicago last year.

FWIW, Peter Nowak said the celebration was "over the board" if i understood him correctly...ANd all that while NOT saying anything racist...so kudos to him....

RB gotta get more creative... FK..cool

what's the big deal about ripping off your shirt? but most leagues card it

but trashing owner/sponsors that pump money into the sport -- yeah, that's going to go over really big

well, here we have Eric saying how the team looks in total disarray, not being able to pass in midfield and all that..BUt for anyone who's watched this team in the past 3 games, regardless of the goals we might have scored.... this is exactly how we've looked all season.... and at some point some responsibility for this has to be placed on Mo....

We need to restructure this Club, head to toe. I'll welcome any changes the club is willing to do, change of Manager and/or Players, in order for us to be serious contenders.
