MADRID (Reuters) - Manchester United are poised to sign Valladolid's Spanish international goalkeeper Ricardo Lopez before the August 31 transfer deadline, the player says. "I'm on my way to Manchester now and looking forward to signing for the club when I arrive," Ricardo told Radio Marca on Thursday. "I still can't really believe it is true," added the 30-year-old player who found out on Thursday that he had been dropped from the national team. Earlier in the day Ricardo's agent said the player had agreed personal terms with the club. "An agreement between Manchester United and the player has been reached," he told Spanish radio station Onda Cero. "I had a meeting with (United manager) Alex Ferguson at which we reached the agreement, but we now have to wait to see if the two clubs can also agree terms. But that is the only thing that has to be resolved."
