Surprised by the lack of interest in this. The Guardian said he played well and he seems to be getting a higher profile in the EPL (for a Fulham player).
An English friend (and Chelsea supporter) said that the announcers were giving him high praise for his movement off the ball that led to his goal.
I watched the last 10 minutes of the game last night with the sound turned down (in a pub) so missed that and the summing up afterwards, but he did feature in a lot of the highlight clips. The article I read at lunch said he played well and worked his 'arse' off as well which is always a good sign. Chris Coleman's also quite astute and so wouldn't play him if he didn't rate him.
Chelsea has only given up 6 goals in 15 league games. Scoring against them has been no small feat this year.
McBride now with 12 goals in about 2200 on-field minutes playing in the Premiership- 4 goals in 500+ minutes with Everton, and the other 8 goals with Fulham... All of his goals this season (3) have come in the Carling Cup....
nah... he was trying to get another kid or two now, there probably are people that want the video... but i think they'll be happy just knowing it happened and the video is on the way
