The fire webpage just released a slew of Bridgeview photos. http://chicago.fire.mlsnet.com/MLS/chf/stadium/bridgeview/
Damn thats awesome!! Thanks for the pics Will the upper deck have benches or seats? http://chicago.fire.mlsnet.com/chf/i...05_04_06/8.jpg Andy
OK thanks. Thats what I thought but I wasn't sure if that was the first layer that the seats attach to. Do you know if the benches will have backs to them like in Crew Stadium? I can't get over how nice this looks.... Andy
Wow !! Thanks for the photos. The place looks great. To all the people involved in the creation of that masterpiece, congratulations!! Buy yourselves a beer or six.
it seems obvious to me that above the current press boxes or suites that there will be more arriviing in the future with the ample space left above them in this picture. Are all the luxury suites already sold out? I believe that a second layer of them could easily be built.
Except that it doesn't match up to the HDC. Sorry. I mean, it's nice and all, and the exterior is certainly more interesting. I'd take it...but, at least in the seating bowl...the HDC still stands atop the heap.
Would look awesome if they spelled "CHICAGO" on the seats. Again, would look awesome with "FIRE" in red on the backings. Either way, awesome stadium, looking forward to taking in a game there one day.
Looks fantastic Chicago. I remember when I was younger going to games in Scotland and you could never get over the beauty of the grass pitch. Your playing surface looks Arsenalesque. Which is a huge complement. Great surface, great soccer! We'll see you at TFC, next year!!
I like the stage at PHP a hell of a lot more than I would've liked the dead grass there if the stage for the RBD concert on April 29 had been sitting on top of it. (See also: Center, Home Depot)
Fantastic - for someone who will likely be seeing an away game there in the future, what are the public transport options? based on the photo that shows the Chicago skyline in the background, that's a long way from downtown Chicago. On the other hand, it looks like one could get an apartment very close if they wanted.
It's 13 miles from soldier field. Bus lines are basically the only form of public transit. Apartments are literally right across the street from the water main (stage end of the field).
