    Sure?
The question was who was the first American to play in 3 of the big 5, and before Mikey, Kasey played (regularly) in the EPL, Bundesliga, and La Liga, along with MLS.

I'll also toss out an honorable mention to Claudio for an impressive multileague career. He doesn't officially qualify, but he captained Wolfsburg in the BL, started for City in EPL, and played for Rangers back when they were a super club.

And had Barca interest he turned down for... UVa! The "missed it by that much" entry.

Unironically he could not hurt Furth this season.

His club plays Barcelona tomorrow. Will his manager start him?

    No.

Beyond his...um...amazing previous game, each of the last two games had one or the other normal starting central defenders on card suspensions. They're both back now.

I wonder where to for Matt. A Championship club? Maybe he tries the Bundesliga. I believe was it a year or two ago when a Serie A club wanted him?

Laguardia will miss their next match - away to Real Madrid - so I'm guessing Matt will get another run out? We'll see.

Biggest match of his career perhaps?

They are playing RM and will get crushed. The Euro leagues have nothing like a salary cap so when some bottom teams play a RM, their chances are generally slim to none.

It was really close until RM decided to start playing.

It's smart to save energy, it's not like they need to play 100% the entire game to dispose of releg fodder.

i saw about 60 mins of the match. Miazga looked pretty good. Broke up some plays, positionally sound, and made the correct passes. Didn’t have a whole lot to do. His name wasn’t called too much by Derrick Rae and Steve McManaman which isn’t a bad thing as a defender. And to be honest, in the 60 minutes I saw, Real Madrid were garbage. They looked like it they didn’t give two shits about the match. It was even worse than the performance against PSG midweek.

Real Madrid has looked like that for a few weeks now. The home supporters whistled at them for large stretches of the match. It was worst that the PSG performance in the 60 minutes I’ve watched.

He looked good in the 1st half. I didn’t see the second when Madrid scored all their goals.
