Péter Máté has joined Reading on loan. He's a Hungarian U-21 and comes from Debreceni VSC, the best club in Hungary. He is a centerback and has played 25 games for Debreceni's first team, with 5 goals (pretty good for a centerback). He's 6'4, so he's a pretty big guy. He hopes to be able to sign a more long term deal with Reading if he can prove himself. I doubt any of us really know anything of this guy outside of what we'll read in the next few days, but it seems like it could be a good find. Hopefully he can do well for the club.
Without the accents in the thread title, I thought you were going to tell us a story about how your friend has joined Reading on loan. But in all seriousness, if Sir Stephen James Coppel picked him out I trust he can do what we need him to do. Good luck Mr Máté.
