I am going to london this weekend and was wondering if anyone out there knows the teams that have home games. I know there are quite a few clubs, but i dont know where exactly they are located. I dont want to stray too far outside zones 1/2, but I would love to see some non-premiership football! Thanks

by this weekend, i hope you don't mean just today, as there are no matches in London. If you mean in a week from now, you have these to pick from:

    Saturday, Nov 13
    Charlton - Norwich
    QPR - Brighton
    West Ham - Brighton

West Ham will probably be the easiest to get tickets for.

Thanks...where exactly is Charlton and West Ham's stadium? I know where Loftus Road is and originally wanted to go see QPR-Wigan, but I thought tickets might be a little hard to come by...

    Here is a tube map:

To get to West Ham's stadium you go to the stop "Upton Park" which is in Zone 3 on the District (green) and Hammersmith (pink) line.

You need to take a train to get to Charlton's ground. You can take it from London Bridge or Charing Cross and it takes about 15 min and costs i think £2.40 for the round trip train ticket.

I think of the 3, Charlton have the nicest stadium. I've always enjoyed my trips there.

If you want to see history made.....

You could go to see Bromley v AFC Wimbledon http://www.afcwimbledon.co.uk/opponents.php?Psection_id=5&Psub_section_id=11&opponent_id=195

The Dons just need to avoid defeat against Bromley to make it 76 league games undefeated - an all-time UK record for senior football.

You'd get a great welcome, too.

Have a great trip, whichever game you choose.

it was very fun! I went to the QPR v Wigan game at Loftus Road. It was a very exciting game with QPR winning it in the 86th minute. I really wanted to go to the AFC Wimbledon v Bromley game, but I didnt have the time to travel down to Bromley and back before my pre-arranged dinner plans.
