Only going to this game because I felt bad for bailing on TFC and NER away when i promised a friend I would go to those games. (I hope he reads this)
I have an 8:55 flight out of Philadelphia. If I go to this game, it will be done by 5:00. Harrison to Philadelphia is 1:36 according to Google maps. Even if it takes two hours, I would get the by 7:00. Hmmmm, I may go to this one.
Are the Union worth missing a flight for? Are the Union worth missing anything for? (No.) I picked loss. They'll probably win. Because. Why not.
RB are trying to wrap up their second SS (which will make the X years no cups chant even lamer). The U are trying. Evaluate personnel, finish unharmed, my patience, a new uniform detergent formulated for salty tears. Something. 4-1 RBNJNY
I somehow selected win. That was an accident. Oh, hey, you can change votes. Cool. Bearfight FC game at 2:30 right down the street from my house. I'm gonna go to that instead. They actually win games.
Not surprised. The game earlier in the season only had one bus and the Union weren't out of the playoffs yet.
You know how an entire section in TRE can go dead quiet when the Union plays miserably, but the capo is at the front trying to get them to chant anyway? That's what a bus ride to New York would be like on Saturday.
To potentially add insult to injury, im only going because my friend from Seattle is coming to hand over the shield to nyrb. So if anyone wants to piss on the shield, I'll have it at the brewery
Hard to get excited about a team that doesn't get excited about itself. Its to the point where they are not full of themselves (and they just suck), I just don't see 100% effort anymore. So why spend money/effort giving 100%? Thats a tank of gas and $20 ticket. Props to those that waste their money on $400 plane tickets and hotel etc out west.
Amen. And some of us have already made this trip twice this season. Granted they won those games but the season is over for the Union and it's over for the fans too. I'll go to the last home game to hangout with everyone but the result is meaningless.
advertising ticket sales with a pic of Calvin pissing on a red bulls logo makes we want to go even less
I think there are a lot of things that could be said about the Sons of Ben social media presence but that's a rabbit hole I'll leave to you guys.
