Hope I’m not stepping on anyone’s toes by starting this thread. I don’t have all the nice stats at my fingertips that usually start one of these threads. I just came here to say I’ve been watching the 2nd half of this match on ESPN+, and the OKC commentator has been consistently calling us the Quails throughout. How do we feel about this? I keep wanting to say, “You don’t get to say that word, that’s our word.” But if we don’t have an alternate mascot, maybe I can’t blame him. In other news, the artificial turf pitch is way too bouncy, and no one can control anything. Cam fired one off the post in the 91st minute, and Cohen made a couple of nice saves (another save of the week candidate, I’m sure), but that was as close as anyone got to breaking the draw. Regardless, draw gets us into the playoffs!
OKC played like they had something on the line but not well enough. One howler of a miss and two or three reflex saves by Josh keep us even. Wish we would play better in OKC.
