Home match against Koeln. We have had a lot of problems at home against them over the years, and under Solbakken they have inconsistent but occasionally also very strong. SO they are not to be underestimated, especially since we have only 1 in our last 5 league games (2-1 home against Augsburg..).

Nevertheless, anything other than 3 points from this one would be a great disappointment. We need the win to keep up with the Leverkusens, Bremens and Schalkes in front of us, so I hope we are able to perform well today and get the result.

Kicker has us returning to a 2 man attack for this one, with Cacau joining sides with Pogrebnyak and Kuzmanovic being relegated to the bench. Personally, I would prefer to keep the one man attack, with Cacau instead of Pogrebnyak. I think Kuzmanovic is a useful guy to have in the midfield and I think he is certainly deserving of his starting spot.

However, I would take Okazaki out of the first side for this game. He has not played a good game in a couple of months now. Traore could get a new opportunity, although after his disappointing performance against Augsburg, I think it's time Timo Gebhart gets a shot in the starting side. He has not been in the first 11 yet this season but is clearly a good footballer who can play well on a good day. I would make him start.

    Hoping for the win!

Gentner starting instead of Kuzmanovic, an opportunity for him to show his worth. Can he take it? Cacau is back in the side in the place of last week's horribly ineffective Pavel Pogrebnyak.

These are the only two changes.

Ok I'm good, watching now :)

I prefer Kuz to Gentner, but lets see what he has I guess...

Bad start conceding that goal. Frustrating, we had started the match quite well in my opinion. But there you go.

Koeln have conceded at least 3 goals in all of their last 3 matches away from home - so there's plenty of time to turn this around still.

Ok, Gentner has made the most of his start over Kuz... lol. Great game since the first minute, and now a goal.

    Gentner!!!!!!!!!!

I guess someone is back in the starting team :D

Perfect turn around by the boys! This is Koeln's weakness, they are absolutely unreliable. And we exploited it brilliantly. Turnaround in first half, could not have hoped for more. But we MUST continue pressing, they are always dangeorus on the counters. More goals please.

Boka in for Boula at the half. At about the 43rd I saw him pull up holding his groin, and then he got a yellow in the 46th. I'm betting a combo of those two led to Boka coming in.

What I find interesting is that Celozzi is basically not existent lol.

Boka at RB is one of the scariest concepts I have heard of in a while. Fingers crossed.

Hajnal off for Kuzmanovic. A shame really, Hajnal had a very strong game today but it looks like he took a knock. I guess Gentner moves into Hajnal's position now.

Its been a fun second half, but with 20 minutes left we have yet to finish the game off. I hope we do not come to regret this.

Who the ******** did not see that coming. have not been this furious all game. We play well, we do not take the chances, we give it away.

Ridiculous - a brilliant chance to make ground this weekend and the boys throw it all away.

    Very upset. Im out.

BS ending. Boo. We clearly outplayed and outclassed them. This is what happens when you don't get that 3rd goal!
