    That seemed almost inevitable once the free kick was given. Iran never seemed like they wanted to win. Morocco wasted this game.

    What an ugly game. Started out promising but quickly took a bad turn. I feel sorry for Morocco but on the flip side those vuvuselas were driving me nuts. I thought they banned them after the insufferable South Africa WC.

    I am surprised that this match was as fierce as it was. May I know if both teams had said anything to each other before this game kinda like the Iran-Korea WCQ before the 2014 WC or was there anything I have missed? This match was pretty rough from both sides. It was a pretty even game as far as threatening chances goes imo. Morocco attacked more but their finishing wasn't really on point. A draw would have been most suitable.

    Anyway, well done to Iran. Hope you guys can represent AFC well in this tournament and go far. You guys have pretty decent fullbacks, surprised at your speed on the counter-attack. I am most impressed with your squad depth, you guys seem to replace your players pretty easier during the middle of the match from what I have seen.
    Also, your GK is good too.
