Do the Dutch fans like De Jong? It seems like he's always making these borderline red card challenges that could end up costing them dearly in the knockout rounds.

Finishing in this tournament has been pretty dreadful so far. Even the Germans probably should have converted a few more of their chances.

hopefully that was Hollands 45 min warmup..... geeez!

Persie had a decent chance at the end there, besides that was pretty damn boring first half!

A little disapointing game so far.
Danes are in control, Dutch are struggling to play their game.
Sneijder, van Persie, van der Vaart playing all to selfish

"The Dutch are too slow. Maybe it's the weather maybe it's too hot..."

63 degrees according to the weather before the match. Not quite mid-season temps, but by World Cup standards, it could be a lot worst, Ruud.

Exactly my thought... Elia needs to replace Kuyt.

Anyhow, I might be alone - but I'm happy that we are not peaking yet. We've seen how it ended in Switzerland when we peaked at an early stage against Italy and France and then got beaten by Russia.

It would have been great if we had Robben fit for play... we now need him more than against Cameroon and Japan.

A lot easier to watch than Uruguay/France, too.

Denmark are in with a real chance, they've looked the more likely to score so far IMO, Bendter has been pretty good, almost set up that goal with a killer pass. For the Dutch Wes has been exceptional but they look a bit off their game today...

Yeah... that still kind of astonishes me. They were so head and shoulders above the competition -- and then out.

I'm hoping they don't even need Robben until the second round (knock wood).

It's really simple to chance this game. We need our wingers. We can't have Robben but do have Babel and Elia. We need to replace Kuyt and vd Vaart with them ASAP

Pick up the pace Holland. Touch and go.
Sub out de Jonge in Afellay?
Elia in for van der Vaart
Sneijder is having bad game for him.

    Yeah. Time is definitely flying.

Denmark's defense looks pretty solid. Up front, though, their forwards seem isolated in attack. Even so, they've had some decent chances, as that header to the low post.

Holland looks incredibly dangerous whenever they get the ball on attack, but they are letting Denmark get through far too easily. There were two or three runs directly at the goal that I kept waiting... waiting... to be closed down. Nothing.

Overall, very good game. Probably the best of the WC so far, on a technical level. It will probably be decided by a mistake.

Denmark is very vulnerable to attack on the wings. And we are very strong defensively in the middle. I also dont understand why it seems like the dutch insist on attacking down the middle.

Very happy with how the game is going now, would happily take a draw so far, even though I think Denmark has performed a little better.

    Edit, not that happy anymore
