Each match has it's own difficulty. Spain were poor, and it's not hard to see that Morocco's next opponent won't play this badly.
I nailed my pre-tournament bold prediction of Morocco topping Group F and reaching the quarterfinals. The stats guy has delivered. Nethelands World Cup Champions 2022 next, please!
Arguably the most tedious and boring game of the tournament. One half of me is happy for the Moroccan fans, the other half of me hates the fact that such negative and defensive football got rewarded.
Remember when Spain would hit all 5. Fabregas was so nasty in the 5th position. Anyways a nice change. Glad to see a group winner underdog make it. More Match 60 tickets for the rest of us
Congratulations to Morocco. I always thought Morocco would have the edge on penalties, but never imagined Spain failing all the 4 they took. Bounou did really well on those penalties, which left much to be desired but still better than the ones Japan took. Morocco, incidentally, will have the chance to face another one of their WC18 group stage opponents if Portugal go on to beat Switzerland.
You guys keep repeating lies. Tika taka got found out. Spain passed the ball around uselessly, their attack was slow and lethargic. Morocco created far more chances. The negative display WAS SPAIN.
Like I said, each match brings it's own level of difficulty. Swiss can defend just as well, if not better, and play a physical style. They can also hit you on a counter with Shaqiri and Embolo. Portugal has some pace, and Ronaldo. Both things you didn't see from Spain today.
