They simply quit after the second goal, the didnt defend the same way since then

amazing teamplay by Portugal, 7 goals by 6 different players

When this happens, there is only one explanation. NK are somewhat naive, and they lost their concentration on the game. Just to many errors, very weak mentally. Good for us, but i'm not happy for humilliating a country that suffers so much.

Why should they stop scoring? You don't know what IC could do to N Korea, they might score 8 on them and Portugal could lose 3-0 to Brasil or something, it's very very unlikely but you never know.

Besides, I wonder how many people would want N Korea to stop if it was the other way around? People would be wanting more.

You can't blame them they needed a win. I bet if they had scored first they would have gone back to their bunker.

You prefer Chile to Spain? Considering how European teams have played, maybe you're right.

They don't. If Portugal beats Brazil, Portugal goes to 7 points and Brazil stays with 6. GD has absolutely no bearing on who is first or second. Only points can sort Brazil and Portugal. There is no outcome where they both end with the same number of points.

Umm because they're winning 6-0 already? What do you get by embarrasing a team like that when you are all but through? There are a few minutes left, just pass the ball back or something. At a certain point it just becomes pathetic.

lol, "bouncing off" is a good way of putting it. Well, lets see how Chile handles the Swiss bunker.

If Brasil eliminates Spain, we might see an all CONMEBOL quaterfinals.

Hum,.. he is referring to second place, not first place IF they were to lose to Brazil and CIV defeats NK. Then the first tie breaker is GD, then Goal Scored,... So goals score is still important!

It's not how you start, it's how you finish.. This 7-0 drubbing means nothing if you get knocked out straight away at R16.

one of the best football if not the best match on this wc was shown by North korea disciplined defense and brazil adjusting their game all the time in attempt to score. intelligent samba vs. intelligent heart.

Sorry,... as long as FIFA has tie breakers, then you need to always assume they will come into play. The world of sports teaches us that the improbable is probable.

Pathetic are comments like this. Accusing a team of some ethic that makes no sense is ridiculous. The purpose of the game is to score...and I don't know if you guys noticed but after 4 - 0 Portugal played at half gas.
North Korea was completley in shambles which contributed to the following 3 goals.
