Emana splits the defenders! Great save from the Danish keeper!!

This match is fantastic! I hope the coaches don't make too many adjustments to slow it down in the second half.

41' 1-1 Denmark have a 2/3-chance as Bendtner gets into the box right and cuts back -- but he micro-slips to one knee, and that's exactly enough time for Hamidou to close-and-grapple!

42' 1-1 Cameroon pounce on a ball at Denmark's box top right, dribble in, backcross to Eto'o at 15m left post, shoots hard low with Sorensen down -- off the post

In reference to a query from earlier in the thread, this is the kind of game that is perfect to have on ABC. :)

Wow... the Danish defence is the worst so far in this tournament... I understand a pass to the opponent's striker once... but 3 times! in one half!

Yeah and it's surprising considering the players they have. Kjaer and Poulsen have been shockingly ridiculous.

It is this kind of random game that made me a fan for life in 1986, watching Belgium and Paraguay play from 11:30 p.m. to 1:30 a.m. A random matchup can really be something.

It's not the defenders doing the silly mistakes, but Poulsen in midfield.

I didn't take note, but was he behind all three bad passes?

What's also making this a great game is that there have only been 8 fouls! The referee is letting the boys play.

Typical... when teams have to win you see a lot of open play.
But if they play vs Holland than all those team play bunker football.

It makes us look bad because we get blamed for playing boring football.

My own opinion is the French pronunciation is the correct one, because the two official languages in Cameroon are French and English, and Eto'o's full name is Samuel Eto'o Fils.

But anyway, the match is underway again!!

    :D

Halftime subs? It said Bendtner came out, they said Makoun on for Geremi, but I'm not sure.

Wow, the people who have decided to have this match on ABC here in the US made a good and somewhat lucky decision. This is an exciting match to watch for those new to the sport who will be clicking to the channel out of curiosity.
