Nice article from the Times about past/present/ and future life for Marcus.... Can't tell you guys how lucky we are to have him healhty for this season...he's going to take a lot of work off of Hyppia and Henchoz. http://www.timesonline.co.uk/article/0,,27-379227,00.html
A follow up... Marcus states he's only a month away.... http://football365.com/All_News/Premiership_News/story_37283.shtml
Good to hear.Markus has shown deterimination of a sort never seen on the pitch. I hope people realize how brilliant it is that he is even able to take the field in a friendly.Any contribution to the League or Cup campaigns would be gravy. It's one of those stories where you could send the script in to Disney, and they would reject it as too sentimental....
Did any of you guys see that piece the BBC America soccer show did on him? They had footage of one of his early visits to the treadmill during his rehab, which they showed after clips of him playing in matches. Man, it was hard not to get weepy when you saw that. In fact, I'm probably going to have to make sure I catch his first couple appearances in the privacy of my own home in order to keep from misting up.
