this guy is having an amazing season... he really raises his game against the best and has shown a real desire to perform this season... - most notably in the games vs bayern, schalke, and obviously today... his last ditch equalizer vs rostock last weekend also and the subsequent reaction was reflective of his attitude this season
Sadly, Marcelinho is carrying the whole of the Hertha team. Without him we would look doomed. As we did for most of last season. Its about time the rest of the so called Hertha frontline started to play to the level he his playing at right now.
Of all players in the league I do like Marcelinho best. If I had to chose one player I wanted on my team, it would be him. He's so elegant and quick, smooth, can shoot from distance with force or finesse. Sets his teammates up as good as anyone. Not his fault he was surrounded by players like say REina. Seems to look brighter this season, though.
