Now I'm not his biggest fan, but I've always had a regard for how he stood up to so much stick when he played for Barcelona. Great watching highlights from this game - reminds me of what a great player Schuster was.

He does get crap for his time at Barca but his record there wasn't bad at all. 38 goals in 58 games.

it's hard to deny anyone who scores more goals in the champions league then games, even if he only played 7 games

yeah I've noticed it too ! some faults are really scandalous, and no reaction from the referee at all ,no wonder Maradona broke his leg in one of those games in la liga...
Maradona and Schuster werer a great duo at Barça that period !

I'm noticing some stats being tossed about and the mention of maradona as the greatest with stats to back that up.... but i stumbled on these stats recently and found them astounding....

    Ronaldo
    PSV Eindhoven 94-96
42 goals in 46 league appearances
9 goals in 7 champions league appearances
    FC Barcelona 96-97
34 goals in 37 league appearances
5 goals in 7 Champions league appearances
    Inter Milan 97-02
69 goals in 49 league appearances
7 goals in 22 champions league appearances
    Real Madrid 02-07
83 goals in 127 league appearances
15 goals in 36 champions league appearances
    AC Milan 07-present
10 goals in 13 league appearances
    Brazil (International Stats) 94-present
    62 goals in 97 appearances
Total: 336 Goals in 441 appearances

keep in mind this is since '94... he played professionally in brazil before that. needless to say... he scores A LOT

not to nitpick, but I know that at milan he has scored 7 goals in thirteen appearances. still good, but not quite 10 goals.

Are you sure this is correct?

Attacking midfielder VS Striker .... well it is not a surprise.
Both are amazing to watch.
