You would have had to get the tickets transferred to someone else 48 hours before the match. You can still take someone with you if you're going.
I believe that is correct, if you didn't bank it by now and do not find someone to go... it's gone...
There is no banking it either. When not going to a match you must exchange the ticket 48 hours in advance for a specific future match. So as of now the ticket must be used Saturday or is lost.
Not as good as last season but they do have the odd offer - Not that they tell anyone about it. http://www.columbuscrewsc.com/membership/matchday
That list is unimpressive. At 1 game you can get $2 off on soda or $1 off on a domestic bottled beer. Why even bother?
I've heard that draft beer is impossible/hard to find at Crew games now. Is there still fountain soda or just bottles? I like the fountain drinks better for no other reason than I like collecting the souvenir cups.
I kno I know last year draft beer locations were hard to find, but there did seem to be more at the first game.... Hoping the local draft stand is better prepared today, the first game when I went only half of the taps were working..
Last year, it seemed as if the stadium club bar stayed open for at least an hour post game. This year, it's supposed to be 30 minutes, although they were well into the closing process before that deadline. I can only hope today was because of the cold. The postgame experience has been going downhill the past few years and if two games this year are an indication, this might be rock bottom. But if they don't want us staying late and spending extra money, so be it. And don't bother being in the Heineken lounge late in the game. People were getting booted about the 80th minute. (New CBA mandates a place for players to relax postgame? I can see them having to traverse the field once the weather gets warm....the alternative is to go past fans on the concourse who will undoubtedly want autographs.)
My question was whether you could get stuff like Bud, Miller, or Coors on draft or just in bottles. I don't drink, but know some people who may want to know about draft macrobrews (as opposed to local Columbus microbrews).
I can say that I hate the plastic cups that fill from the bottom. When you are carrying other stuff in your hands with the beer there is always something that presses up on the bottom of the cup and you now have beer all over everything. Annoying.
the vendors that walk have the cans of beer no longer pour them in cups you keep the can... how long will that last?
Nope. Heine is just our import beer of choice... although, I'm still trying to determine exactly who's choice that is.
Here's some other info about the dollar nights. http://www.columbuscrewsc.com/news/2015/02/look-crew-scs-2015-home-schedule
I understand that "change is good", but not in all circumstances, and certainly not at the new mapfre stadium. My beer of choice, when I attend sporting events, is Budweiser Light, preferably draft. I drink economically there, not craft beery. Draft seems difficult to locate there this year. The hell with the "stadium club" and the hell with the heineken lounge. Thanks for nothing, Precourt.
