Van Persie throws the ball at Fortune... straight at his nuts... this guy needs to be off... he is a complete a$$ and a cheat...

Arsnal with good posession... Van Persie falls down yet again, Fortune cleared the ball away eventually...

Richardson forward now, over to Klebs... his cross is put out for a throw...

Richardson and fortune exchange passes... Klebs plays it in but its cleared... DjDj roughing them up in midfield called for a foul, but replays show that its not a foul, little contact.

Ryan Smyth comes on for Lupoli who was diving all over the place... Smyth seems to be playing LM....

Bellion nearly in there... but Aluminum wrapped it up.

Hoyte stops a swift United counter...

time for a sub of our own me thinks... I'd like to see Rossi on the field now.. at the expense of anyone...

Fortune with a penetrating run going by a defender and then lifted his cross too high.

    EDIT:

I think I'll stop the PbP as it seems matchtracker is ahead of the radio feed... how disappointing... I guess I've been redundant so far then...

    ok then...

Arsenal with much of the possesion, but its due mostly to us laying off.... we're relying on the counter and Arsenal through Van Persie have continued with their diving tactics...

Klebs looked to be limping a bit earlier on but seems fine now.

Yay... David Jones and Rossi on for Eagles and Kleberson...

it should be Rossi playing behind Bellion and Jones to do the duties in central midfield i should think.... a roar of applause from the spectators...

2 Arsenal corners in a row...

Brown did well to clear the first one... 2nd corner headed out by Jones...

    Arsenal maintain possesion...

Sloppy from both teams... little coming for either side...

nother arsenal sub... Karbassiyoon on for Clichy... Karb apparently plays both LB as well as striker... an attacking move by Wenger.

Brown takes a fk in our half.

    nothing of it...

I hope we can use another sub soon... have not heard from Miller recently... he should make way for a youngster...

Bellion was away there, he had Rossi with him but Aluminum cleared the danger after O'Shea had initially won the ball for United.

United getting called for offside too much now. twice in 2 mins.. Bellion and Rossi i think.

Rossi is still just 17. Can't quite compare to Rooney and Ronaldo.

Van Persie shot goes wide.... poor defense after Arsenal took a quick fk... well wide but Howard still has just 1 save today.

Wenger can't bear it anymore... he sits down and lets an assist give the instructions... poor poor arsene...

arsenal freekick halfway in our half... called against DjDj

    2mins of injury time....

Van Persie looks to have a go... from 30 yards... towards hoyte, but no contact... Rossi was able to deny Hoyte...

Bellion mom??? Not too sure who to give it to... Phil played well at the end... but an unremarkable match for the most part...

ManU ends Arsenal's unbeaten streak in the Carling Cup ;)

Van Persie and other players surrounding the ref and showing poor maturity...

teeheee... commentators say SAF puts an apron on before entering the tunnel...

I've got a question.... do we play the big guns against Chelsea or play the reserves?

If it were up to me I would stick with the reserves, perhaps sticking in Smith or Saha if fit and Giggs or Ronaldo which ever one of them is more rested as it seems we play only 1 at a time now.

Bellion post match comments... not verbatim, just a sense as I was listening to an interview.

Glad to score 3rd goal in 5 starts but said its not just about scoring, also about keeping the ball and playing well outside of scoring.

Glad for the chance to play in the side and thought that team performed well and applauded the maturity of his teammates for not getting involved in any bad behavior....

Arsenal since we beat them they've just 3 wins in 10 matches 2 of those wins coming in this competition.

Bellion displaying a Ruudlike scoring rate 8 goals from 13 starts since he came.

like I had said the game was a toss up. Utd capitalized on an early mistake and did not look back. According to the commentary Utd dominated for most the game in the midfield.

was it a sellout? If it was I wonder if it was a record for a League Cup game, non-final. I know it was more popular before so there might ahve been big crowds, but this might be the biggest in a while.

Either way, they are able to field a good side. This will be a great match to watch. Wish it were us though. Oh well.
