    Match Preview:

    After a 3-3 draw in the 1st leg filled with incredible goals, two Titans of Europe, Real Madrid and Manchester City, cross paths once again in a do-or-die knockout match at the Etihad. The stakes don't get much higher. Winner advances to the semifinal for a match against either Bayern Munich or Arsenal. Loser is eliminated from the competition. 90 minutes to decide.

    Manchester City have not lost at the Etihad since November 2022. They are unbeaten in their last 27 games in all competitions home and away. Real Madrid is unbeaten since January in all competitions, on a 15 game unbeaten streak.

    Kyle Walker, Kevin de Bruyne, and Nathan Ake rejoined the City squad over the weekend, although it remains unclear how fit they are to start this leg. For Real Madrid, Carlo will have to decide how to replace the suspended Tchouameni, likely with Nacho.

    This match at the Etihad will obviously be the hardest match of the season and will define this campaign. The result from last year in that building lingers like a spectre.     Legends like Cristiano and Benzema are gone. Modric doesn't feature like he used to. Time for the young guys to write their names in history. The opponent is very tough, they have their best player back and we are missing a couple of key players in defense but to do the improbable first you must fully believe you can do the improbable. Remember what Benzema said on those texts about it being his story and that nothing can stop him. Let's have that kind of belief.

    Etihad is a crap stadium for any atmosphere and fans who are begged to turn up by their own manager.

    Anfield is 10x more intimidating and we’ve bossed their over the years, recently as last year.

    Just need to play our own game

    Nah. Last season the coach made stupid mistakes.

    Two big ones were dropping Rudiger and playing Modric with Kroos.

    Much better shape this time around.
