Ah stop whining. We are 3 points away from 14th place. That's just one victory. His last 5 games. Won 2, drawn 2, lost 1. Wait until the transfer window closes.

I can't remeber seeing the PL so tight before. 5 points covers the whole bottom half of the league.

Yea but every team also has at least 1 game in hand against us....so we can't afford to be bottom a game ahead of everyone

    Take a chance on Roy?

    Uh, Hodgson, not Keene.

Does the win against Barnsley hurt Grant?

Last 5 matches for Grant... 3 wins, a draw and a loss.

Not the worst form in the world.

I think the question must be "if we would of won 2 games instead of tieing two games early in the season would we still be discussing the axe?"

It's so close, and west ham have been unlucky early on.

The fact of the matter is that we are in dead last and have played some dreadful games. Yes we have been unlucky at times, but we have also had our share of goals that have been (og) from the opponent.

None of Grants transfers have amounted to anything. Sure Piq and obinna have looked creative at times, but only to lead to nothing, due to their own fault and of course their teammates. Lars is ok and Hitz is YTD.

Our midfield isnt awful but they have nothing to work with in front or behind them.

I see Liverpool have got rid of Roy Hodgson. Now he is someone who would suit West Ham. He did a great job with Fulham and he is much better suited to our type of club. The Liverpool disaster would have happened regardles of who managed them. They were a Benitez team and never suited to an English manager.

I hope we have a serious look at Hodgson

I've been thinking about this and suspect that, at the moment, Woy is damaged goods. Give him a few months and he'll come back fighting. I dont think we have a few months so not Woy!
O'Niell or Alladyce (in that order)

Grant should stay. Since November ...

    Draw with Birmingham
    Draw with WBA
    Draw with Blackpool
    Lost to Liverpool
    Win against Wigan
    Win against Manure
    Lost to Sunderland
    Lost to Man City
    Draw with Blackburn
    Win against Fulham
    Draw with Everton
    Win against Wolves
    Lost to Newcastle
    Win against Barnsley

    5 wins, 6 draws, 4 losses.

It ain't great but with injuries, poor referee decisions, no money, backroom lunacy, I think it is a pretty decent record. The man deserves support from SuGo and Karen Brady.

Yes, not the best situation for Grant, but since hearing O'neils name mentioned, probably the only guy out there that could be an upgrade.

I could bet almost anything I got on the fact Sullivan being behind the constantly ongoing rumours Grant´s been annoyed at, through Brady of course. Sounds just like his habits.

And, if they haven´t given Grant the man he wanted and the club had already agreed everything with, the end must be very near.

One rumour is that it´s Big Sam and he will be given 6 months trial.

But I reckon nothing happens before Wednesday. I mean nothing official. Behind the scenes situation could be slightly different.

I heard that too. Does this mean he has also given up his nick name of Scarf-Ace?

Asked if he expected to remain in the job, Grant replied: "You need to ask the person that [started] the rumours."

    Nice

Couldn´t mean anybody else than Sullivan himself. Brady is not in a position to make those decisions.

But of course it has been clear anyway, Brady wouldn´t publish anything significant without at least asking for Sullivan´s approval first. It could be she was even ordered to do so.

And all the heat is towards Ms. Brady, not Sullivan himself. Convenient.

What a snakepit Upton Park is changing into

Read somewhere both O´Neill and Big Sam have turned West Ham´s offer down as there are other more interesting clubs for them in sight. Could be even true.
