Almunia came off the line then came back, the ball in by Richardson cleared by Clichy as Almunia was in no-mans land.
Bellion runs down the right, plays it back to Richardson. Senderos clears. Miller runs down, but Almunia comes out and collects.
Richardson blasts one on goal, and an awesome save by Almunia. Corner played quick, but Almunia takes. Almunia makes up for his gaffe in the first minute.
Senderos heads back to Almunia, but he has to come off goal and clear. Bellion takes it wide to Neville. RvP takes it but then loses posession. Jemba-Jemba has posession to Richardson. A ball played in is over Eagles head, Clichy wins a throw.
i wouldn't say made up for his gaffe, if he scores a goal than he makes up for it. he certainly kept a goal out, at least that what the commentary on soccernet said, which i guess kinda makes up for letting one in.
Lupoli wins a freekick on a foul by Wes Brown. 2 yards outside the box. Pennant hits it around the wall and a good save by Howard. Kleberson is taken down by Larson on the break.
5 Live must be on a slight delay because I was reading your post and hearing the same commentary at the same time. Either that or you are Clairvoyant
Larson plays to Quincy, but ManU collect. Jemba-Jemba plays forward but Arsenal control posession. Larson to Clichy to RvP. Lupoli falls in the box but nothing comes of it. Goalkick for ManU.
from soccernet.com: Good to hear: Neville, in the absence of Reyes, hacks through the back of Owusu-Abeyie to concede a foul. Owusu-Abeyie just getting up and Neville shaking his hand remind us how far we have come from the last Arsenal visit to Old Trafford
45th minute. Still 0-0 at WHL. RvP plays on goal but it takes a deflection to Pennant. Brown plays out for a corner.
HT @ Old Trafford. 1-0 to United, and overall, they deserve to be on top. We need to get a run of posession in the second half.
sounds like a back and forth game. We slipped up, literally, at the beginning and let in a goal. I do not think we will be able to score unless Utd really screws up.
Look at the experience level of both teams. Arsenal are holding an experienced team pretty well. Let's hope they can get one in the second half and hold them.
Thanks for the PBP guys. Sounds like we have not found our groove in the match yet. No worries though-still 45 mins to play and we are holding our own barring 1 freak play.
Arsenal needs to get better control of the midfield and start attacking more. Glad they are holding up well against ManU though. Come on Gunners!!!
