I was just putting away odds and ends around my house and came across my daughter's Magic 8 Ball in her room. Succumbing to the temptation to ask it a question (and this being gameday,) I asked it the following...

SOP: "Will the Quakes win at Columbus tonight?"

    8: "My reply is no."

    Hmm...

SOP: "Will the Quakes get shut out tonight?"

    8: "My sources say no."

SOP: "Will the Quakes lose by more than one goal?"

    8: "It is a certainty."

SOP: "Will the Quakes score an own goal?"

8: "You may rely on it."

Disappointing. Now, in the interest of science and voodoo (or both) I allowed a 5 minute cooling-off period, then repeated the first question while standing in a different location. The results?!?...

SOP: "Will the Quakes lose at Columbus tonight."

    8: "Outlook hazy, try again."

SOP: "Do you know what the f*** you're talking about when it comes to MLS?"

    8: "My reply is no."

Sounds like this 8 ball belongs on BS with us! ;) :D

    GO QUAKES!!!

Clearly, the only answer it got right was the last one. :)
