    Yeah, they had Mbappe, Messi and Neymar and now they have nobody. I can't name a single star in that league. I wouldn't watch it even if they paid me.

    The problem isn't the lack of interest, it's the value they feel the League has. The Bundesliga has a rights pricing issue as well, both German and Italian football has seen their broadcast deal shrink instead of grow.

    That's the reason gambling is everywhere in the sport, they are the ones currently bringing money in and balancing it out, because on a per subscriber basis, all broadcasters are losing money.

    Issue is no takers even in France so far. Heard broadcasters think right value is only worth half of 700 M per year Ligue 1 is asking for.

    It's because the EPL has become a black hole. All the talent from the other top 4 leagues goes there. Spain is lucky because Barcelona and Real are relatively healthy otherwise it too would struggle.

    700 mill for the french league is insane.. no wonder no one is jumping in.

    I feel like it is, but it could be nostalgia. I look at the Euros and I struggle to think who I am looking forward to watching.

    It's not about talent. There's simply a point at which the broadcast rights are way too expensive for what they generate in advertiser interest.

    The Leagues operate under the assumption that there is constant growth, but the advertisers are not paying more. In fact if you exclude long term partners (Sony, Audi, Sony Lays, Budweiser etc) and the gambling there's barely any new industries breaking through.

    If I have to pay 50 bucks every time I use a delivery vehicle but earn 70 on a tour, it's value, but if you ask me to pay 90 per ride and I generate 70 on the delivery tour, why would I make a loss?

    Foreign football serves mostly as a schedule filler. With niche sports being cheaper, there are far easier ways to fill the schedule than with football.

    From this list i'm not tuning in to watch past Jude, but they are others that i like to see who are not considered stars, Musiala, Fede for example and i like to watch Rodry play, when he is on song obviously
