Meh, I'd limit the number of clients he has at this club. And I'd look to find a cheaper CB to bring in. I think Militao is going to be Ramos' long term replacement, Varane is still young, you'll need a 3rd one, but not one that's a star already. Someone like Upamecano who we were linked to or Malang Sarr given Zizou's links to the French league.

Absolutely this. We have a good one on our hands in Militao. We need to be looking at 3rd CB not a “star” high profile stater. We are in no hurry to replenish the CB ranks right now. Sergio keeps himself super fit and will give us 2 more seasons. Rafa isn’t anywhere near the end yet and we have a good one already with Militao. We have other areas to reinforce.

De Ligt had a rough season in Italy, not so sure we are interested and I'm pretty sure this is another media invention.

Camano (Hakimi's agent) said we aren't even operating so I don't know how they are coming about these new targets.

Varane is only 26 years old!

Incredible to think he should just technically be entering his prime!

I don’t think this guy will ever gets the credit he deserves.

He's barely been playing as a defender under Favre. I'm cautious.

Agreed, but it’s always good to see a Castilla product gather serious market interest. Whether he plays for us or not, Madrid will make money.

Neither does Carvajal under Zidane; he's been pretty much below average for years now in that department.

Abc sports just throwing anything out there to fill the void. You have an agent with a player on our books saying the club is basically non operational during the time of the pandemic, and all these newspapers keep acting like we're actually in business.

Board and executive offices are closed. Literally no one is making decisions about transfer targets for next season.

We haven't even made any decisions or contact regarding our own players we have on loan.

You don’t really think the Madrid brass is just at home doing no work, do you? I get the skepticism with the awful futbol media, but there’s no way the officials of these clubs just have everything on pause

Built under the Bernabeu. That's why he wanted to add a roof, it all makes sense now.

How can you make any decisions about signings right now when nobody knows when playing will resume, or what the financial situation of the club will be?

Final decisions are hardly ever complete until pen is put to paper on a transfer. But they still have to be forecasting their revenues/expenses and planning accordingly. There’s all sorts of work they could be doing from safe spaces. Projections, scouting

What's there to scout? There is zero football being played.

Also revenues and expenses are in a dynamic development right now with no clear idea on how the schedule will progress if at all.

Tough to plan for big transfers but if it entertains people, oh well.

They haven't contacted the players we actually own or their agents to discuss what we are doing next season but you think they are attempting other clubs players?

In this economic and social climate?

It would be tone deaf and foolish.

They are more concerned with staying alive, keeping the club alive and paying wages and debts than they are picking up talent fot a season they don't know when it'll even exist.
