Yeah those ones. They are reasonable on PDS ATM and I'm considering them but not many reviews that I can find.

I love mine. I haven't played in them too much yet but I'm super happy I got a pair.

So I weighed my various Mizumo MIJ's and here are the results:

Mizuno MIJ (2015) Black FG w. red knotley laces SZ 8.5 US - 7.5oz (215g)
Mizuno MIJ 30th anniversary Blue FG SZ 8.5 US - 7.4 oz (212g)
Mizuno MIJ (2012) Black FG w. red knotley laces SZ 8.5 US - 9.3 oz (265g)
    Mizuno MIJ (2012) Black AS SZ 8 US - 9.6 oz (275g)

The new model MIJ's are remarkably lightweight for k-leather boots with tongues, well done to Mizuno! For comparision my Pantofola d'oro Lazzarini's are 11 oz and my Tiempo IV's are 9.7 oz.

I'm not sure how this would compare to lightweight synthetic boots...anyone have any idea?

Well the current vapors are 180g in a 9US. 215g is really good for a leather boot

Where can I buy a pair of super ligeras? I bought mine too small last time and would really like to take another go at them. I'm from Canada

It is a little bit harder now because they no longer make them. I imagine some stores on Rakuten still have them or you could always check on Yahoo auctions Japan.

Super ligeras might be pretty hard to find now. Maybe look into tiempo premiers? If you're looking for a similar boot with similar price

These bad boys finally arrived. My first Monarcida. You can't go wrong with Made in Japan boot.
Yes, they are not as good The Morelias but these are well made.

I'm headed to tokyo for a few days in 2 weeks and was wondering whether any one has any recommendations for boot shopping?

I don't go to Tokyo as often as Osaka but there are many KAMO shops in all popular areas like Harajuku, Shinjuku and Shibuya. There is a FUTABA sports shop in Shibuya as well.
You will not see many items on Sale at KAMO especially shoes.

There is a Mizuno flagship store but I never been to and not sure about the location but it is around Chiyoda-ku area.

You will find good deals at regular sports shops that carry soccer stuff and usually they have items on sale.

    Have fun

    What he said!

I went to the Mizuno flagship last time I was there and they did not have a whole lot of soccer stuff. Might be worth checking out though. I think FUTABA is your best bet.

Oh! And I don't know if it's still there but near Shibuya station there is a shop that sells Classic Jerseys. Like legit ones and Match Worn

    Quiet in here...

Well can doubly confirm that the Harajuku location of Futaba is gone.

I stopped by B&D Sports and looked at the re-released Filas that Nakata wore when he was playing. They are pretty badass and I wanted to pick a pair up but I'm pretty sure the wife will have my head if I do so.[IMG]

Yup! Nothing ever gets past you does it?

On the remake the soleplate is different and they are much lighter than the originals.
