Given Luton were a non league team as recently as 2014 this should be an easy win. But this Luton side are on the ascendency and will fancy their chances at the home of an early pioneering plastic pitch.

We played them in an fa cup semi final in 1994 (where we faced off against Kerry Dixon in a standard 2-0 win). We also knocked them out of the fa cup a year ago on the back of a tammy hat-trick so hopefully this run of success continues.

Expect some changes to the team, not out of disrespect for the competition or the opponent but due to injuries and overload from Sunday's lengthy outing.

7:15pm kick off for this so don't be caught out and miss the first half

Great ball from Saul there. A glimpse of things to come?

With only 2 proper defenders on the pitch, it's not surprising a set piece undid us early.

Lukaku needs taking off now, we need wholesale changes or we will lose by more than 1 goal. If anything this just shows how poor our second team is. Without our 38 year old defender we are in big trouble, what with the sale and everything next season may be a bit of a struggle.

It needs changing now, what with our 'lack' of goals we will be lucky to claw back to 2-2, another goal let in and we are in BIG trouble.

God awful half of football, god awful, I know Tuchel worries about tired players but whats the point of playing shite when it simply means you go out of the competitions?

You mean "Lukaku offers absolutely nothing" surely?

We 'may' be in trouble for a season or two, I hope all you guys 'stick around' if we are, I don't want this to turn into a 'one man' thread! :)

I cant imagine we'll be relegated any time soon. All depends on the owner. Hopefully the club all of the due diligence on the new owner.

Can’t believe we serious went out with just 2 defenders.

Neither adds much but who kills more chances? Werner or lukaku?

I'm going with timo given he has more opportunities to feck up (including offsides and faffery) whereas lukaku doesn't create much of anything in the first place.

You can see what rlc can do but that lack of a finished product holds him back.

Vale also coming on, exciting talent. Scored a cracker for the yoofs recently. Hopefully can bring some ziyech style quality to the last half hour.

Good lord we can't even do the simple things, we are truly, truly awful. Lukaku needs taking off NOW! We are creating absolutely NOTHING!
