    That's not funny!

If we are to have a mascot (shudder at the thought) it better be of "Eat more chickenz" fame or like the ones from the Far Side.

    Mrs. TA-
That's the way it was last year out at Las Colinas.

They do just walk in through the crowd though before the thing, so I'm sure you can catch most of them if you'd like.

    See you there.

Infernosaurus would be a great mascot for FCD. And it would be a great opportunity for Infernosaurus.

But he'd have to change his name to Hoopysaurus or something like that.

Well, that was fun. Whatcha think about the "new signing" :D
Lunch was good and everyone was nice. Is it me, or did they forget to mention La Raza?
The HUGE jersey was cool. Jonno was right when he said we need lots more people to hold up that thing!!!!!!!!!!!
    Eddie was in good spirits.
The speeches were kinda long but the film presentation was cool especially the close up of Horny Mud ;)

    Well done FO!!!!!!!!!!!

Yeah, but they ran long as always, many people were walking out during the interviews with players. I'm not sure how to tighten that up, but it was a bit rough for us working folks.

Overall, an awesome day! My wife and I met EJ out in the Embassy Suites entry, then snagged her picture with Jeff on our way in. And Jeff Busch, Laurie, and the rest of the crew did a bang up job. 30 days without a home MLS game? Geesh, thats going to seem like forever after all the excitement.

30 days? Don't forget about the Open Cup game next Wednesday, July 13th at UTD.

I guess it would have been nice if "they" would have mentioned it at the luncheon.

that was fun, lots of patting everyone on the back for their hard work and lots of expectations to bring home silverware. The mascot is kind of lame but the kids loved him so why not? The new Inferno Flag of Glory is ENORMOUS, I'm going to miss hoisting it up and am now kinda regretting my seats in the middle  . Everyone seemed pumped about this season and the stadium. I was at a table with mini Inferno dudes and they won the ball in the middle of the table that I wanted, bastards ( ;) ). Got EJ's autograph and drove out to the stadium to see the progress. Everything looks in order, lost of progress from when I was last there a few months ago. The biggest problem is going to be the road and traffic, I'm just picturing a nightmare.

The mascot aka Tex Hooper doesnt bother me. I see mascots and the such running around the pitch before EPL games almost every week. If he makes it a little more fun for the kids and they keep showing up then all the better.

Well, that and the new Flag of Greatness - a huge Hoops kit. Pretty sweet.

As for the mascot, while I think most regret the loss of Islamico, as long as Tex stays away from us, all will be . . . well, maybe not "well", but tolerable.

    ;)
