#5 FDB hosts #3 Wild Bunch at the Big House
    79556927

hopefully week 13 is lucky for me too... goin against 3 at home but he has a crazy counterattack and defense... looked at his losses this season seemed mostly attacks on flanks so i'm doin a PIC/AOW/with 2 FTW... i'm only 4 points clear of 4th and 5 of 3rd, so if i win then there's a shot to not play a qualifier. though i wouldnt mind the extra game

Hopefully a big win this week against the #8 noob, trying AOW to see what rating I get,

Wasn't surprised to see this message:
Columbus was clearly looking ahead to the next match rather than focusing on the one at hand.

Meteor's Valerio Brutti was shown a yellow card after 6 minutes for slicing down an opponent. Liberals was worse off though, as Thomas Miller was unable to finish the game and no substitutes were available!

That's my spiffy-new winger taking only six minutes to further my side's thug-tastic persona. Can't say that I mind, though--I'm PICing to recover from last week and go out with a bang next week, so dropping one of his wingers is fine by me.

Some quick footwork on the left side of the field in the 15th minute left Columbus's Dinko Brkic completely free to score. 0 - 1 for the visitors.

dinko needs a big week to win the golden boot.

up 1-0... stopped one of his counters... and took out his 4.5 star wing replaced by a 2 star wing

This inspired me to look up the numbers.

In 23 games I collected 26 yellows and 5 reds, with 15 of those yellows and 2 of those reds going to forwards. I've also injured 9 players.

Pulling out the MOTS at home in an effort to catch and pass the current #3 and end the season there.

He has me by 3 pts and +4 GD so if I win by 2 I will tie on GD and take over on total goals. I have a virtual BOT to end the season while they finish at home against the #1.

Up 1-0 on a FK conversion and he has missed a right side chance.

Up 4-0 w/ three goals from the left and one in the middle, may have to stick with the AOW

Boy howdy my offense is toothless today. Only 1 chance with 74% possession. At least the other team's only events were a guy getting a yellow and that same guy getting injured.

up 2-0 at half on him... concerned about 72% possession though because he puts up WC counters

Well, a flurry of activity in the last 10 mins saw him lose a WB to 2 yellows, me take a "bad foot" injury, then scoring 3 goals and pulling back after the 2nd one. Up 4-0 at the half.

Winning possesion by 53% so looks like the MOTS was necessary.

BTW, stogey? Does a MOTS aided 200 count. :D

cruising up 3-0, but have lost 2 players to ********ing injuries. Second place is down 1-0, if results hold, I clinch the series and can PIC next week.

What with FC Tucson having a walkover next week, all I need to do is beat Bolsa by 15 goals and the series is mine!

    ;)

Although I'll be honest and tell ya it'll be nice to knock Bolsa down to 4th next week...I enjoy seeing the DV demotee get outpaced by the three longest-standing clubs in the series, especially since we all three started the same season.

    Eureka! LOL

Now is suggestion time to the Hattrick Gods. Put in a "do not go defensive under any circumstances" button.

    Kick Bolsa's ass, Noodles!

ugh... wussed out this week. played a counterattack team, got 71% and scored on 1 out of 8 chances. my opponent scores on his only normal chance (weak low central attack vs. solid low central defence - ) then hits me in the 86th minute with a free kick counterattack.

irritating, but as long as i win against the series weakling next week i'm good.

Missed all five of my chances while MOTS at home. Lost 0-2 in my chance to take third. Outside some really surprising upsets next week, I'll be holding position in 4th. Damn.
