The final score is: 4 - 3 GO SAN JOSE EARTHQUAKES!!! -G P.S. = Please don't post results of other soccer (including MLS) games and other sports' games in this thread until at least 24 hours after they've ended.
Boy are we bad. We were so lucky to get three goals and not have two or three more hung on us. Yarborough must’ve been on quaaludes and Beason is slower than a one-legged sloth…
1st half typical Quakes. 2nd half they showed some fight/spirit/spunk. But in the end another defeat.
With today’s result, the Galaxy has already won this season’s edition of the California Clásico regardless of who wins the final round later this year. GO SAN JOSE EARTHQUAKES!!! -G
Nonetheless… F**K anyone who plays and/or roots against the San Jose Earthquakes! GO SAN JOSE EARTHQUAKES!!! -G
Well, we've invented another way to lose - come back from down 3 goals to down 1 goal, go up a man, and....almost, but no cigar.
So we couldn’t score while a man up? We watched on hubbys phone during dinner out but didn’t watch after the red card
I thought Gruezo played a little harder tonight. Not always good, but at least he was trying. The Morales sub was good. Bouda comes in and he's just out of control and unhelpful. I would have much preferred to see Ricketts instead.
Matt Doyle already posted: LA won 4-3. I give the Quakes credit for not laying down and dying once they were down 3-0, but honestly, they were begging to get blown out in this one. They are a mess. The Galaxy are still the Galaxy though: fun in a lot of ways, but so vulnerable in the air in general and on set pieces in particular that it’s impossible to take them seriously as any kind of contenders.
So that's what you get when you have a "mess" of a team play a team that is comically vulnerable in the air and on set pieces - a 4-3 game. It's almost like LAG is a "mess" in the air and on set pieces?
Are you kidding? It's going to be "moral victory" and onward they go. I think Luchi will get the whole season and probably next season also. I'm not saying that's the right thing to do necessarily but that's how I see it playing out.
We need a striker so badly. And an attacking midfielder. And a defensive midfielder. And a left winger. And a center back. Just most of a team at this point lol
