Yeah, those were bad years. Yes, we are giving up a lot of goals, but the soccer back then, well, it was horrendous. We had players who didn't know how to play the game. Seriously, they were just good athletes who happened to play soccer. No skill and could not read a game if it was written in a book for them.

Yes and now we have a bunch of juggling master soccer tekkers. Same bird different feather.

    Bower was at least cute.

Quakes win 4-2! LAFC's 2nd goal comes late and game is actually over early in 2nd half.

Goals from Rios, Espinoza, Salinas, Cowell! An assist from Vako!

Go Quakes! The ship turns around!

A forfeit counts as a 3-0 loss and I bet NBC could get better ratings if they replay a game from 2012 (or really just anything else).

I watched the Colorado game with the sound off while I did other activities. I think I'll do the same with this game or just not watch it at all. It really does affect my mood and it's just not worth it.

Goals conceded per game average in a season, most all-time

    Season Team GPG
    2020* SJ 2.93
    2001 TB 2.51
    2020* VAN 2.31
    2019 CIN 2.21
    2018 ORL 2.18

We're winning at being the worst!

And those were all 28+ Game seasons, ours is like under 20 games which makes it even worse.

Seasons not over, and I'm sure some teams would LOVE to break that record against us.

Uh, no. Stats like that tend to normalize the more games you play. You need to have a sufficient sample size. With only 13 games played so far, that GAA is more likely to drop than stay the same or increase over a greater number of games.
Russell Wilson has thrown 9 touchdown passes in 2 games, but, I doubt anyone is putting money on him tossing 72 for the season..

I have the “about to pass an accident site and kind of half looking to see how bad it is” kind of vibe to this game. It’s almost like I’d be good if we keep LAFC in single digits.

I had a dream that Tommy walked a ball into the goal. I think it was LA's goal but I'm not sure.

Ouch! That brings back painful memories of the time in middle school when I put a layup in - in the wrong basket. A heck of layup though.

TT probably won’t play tonight after going 90 in CO, so it’ll have to be maybe Salinas?

Has Lopez left yet for Peru nats duty?

Hopefully we can get a CB back for this one.

Wiebe's douchebag comments should trigger some kind of response. We're in rough shape right now but I'd like to see more cohesive fight from the boys for 90 min. Lately the team mentally shuts down after we go down by a couple goals...which leads to some ridiculously ugly wtf embarrassing goals...which brings in the laughingstock of the league vibe.

I want to see some fight for 90 min. That's on Almeyda and Wondo, Flo and a few other vets. We'll lose our share of games, but it's tough to stomach any Quakes side giving up.

Hope to see a more cohesive defensive response from the mids and D. If we lose, we better go down fighting. Any player who isn't willing to fight for the jersey, shouldn't be on the field.

I like your thinking, but I’ll be shocked as hell if either of them are fired before the end of season.

The way we’ve been playing? We’re likely to average 4.1 goals against. There are at least three or four more blowouts in our future. Remember, we’re not playing the whole league, we’re up against Laf*ck, Lafilth, shittle, The ForestKillers, Wankouver, and one match against the SaltLickers. It’s going to get uglier than it already is.

    Go Quakesfans!!
    We don’t deserve this shit!!
