Why wouldn't we be pissed off? Scotland is one of the oldest international football setups in the world. I'd hate to see it pissed away in favour of a British team.

Olympic football is shite, which is why rubbish teams like Nigeria tend to win it. I wouldn't go to an Olympic football match if it was at Cappielow, let alone going to Hampden for it. It'll be as corrupt and drug-fuelled as the rest of the games, I imagine.

I think it's awful. If we could get a cast-iron guarantee that it's just for these Olympics and isn't going to become a permanent arrangement I'd accept it. Otherwise, I strongly oppose it.

Games should be at Ibrox and Parkhead. An all GB team would be the death of Scottish and Welsh football. The Brits would monoplize it like every thing else.

Of course, Scottish and Welsh are Brits, but I think both Scotland and Wales would be lucky to place more than one or two a piece in the selection. That, then, begs the question of what the point of a GB team would be.

Sorry my bad, I consider the Brits = British, Welsh = Wales , Scots = Scotland. I consider them there only countires so I use the term UK as a conglomarat of the three. Sorry if I offended. As far as " but I think both Scotland and Wales would be lucky to place more than one or two a piece in the selection", you are postivily right.

This is seven years away and there is an age restiction on who can play. No-one knows how each nation will be doing then. Seven years is a very long time in football.

Only the bloody Scots could get this pissed off about being chosen as hosts for the Olympics, seriously you lot must be amongst the most miserable wankers on the enitre planet, you must have been at the meths again if you honestly think that the rest of the UK wants to include you in a combined football team.

To quote Doddie Wier, "Scotland needs to grow up, not just as people but as a nation."

Come on guys why not stop living in the year 1314 and join the rest of the civilised planet, you never know you might have a laugh.

I put it to you Mr. Riot, if that is your real name, that Doddie Weir is nothing more than a big rugby-playing, shandy-drinking pouffe.

Brits = British is correct, however Britain means all three of Scotland, Wales and England. Britain does not mean England.
