I'm a rabid Stone Roses/Ian Brown fan. Its a really good collection of remixes by top producers like 808 State and Paul Oakenfold. http://www.thestoneroses.co.uk/discography/albums/remixes.asp
I got it when I was in Manchester visting my family. You probably can see if Amazon.com is selling it. Amazon.co.uk wont ship music to the US.
Just got the new Ian Brown Solarized Album. Its amazing. Also recently had a UK friend buy me the Remixes of Spheres from his Music of Sphere. It has the amazing F.E.A.R. track on it. Class.

WOW! I need to get these cd's. I can't sample them, but I'm going to trust your judgement, your list of music and the Fire fan gives you high regard ;)

I wonder if that CD101 will ship to the US?

Good news Amazon.com is selling the Import of the Stone Roses Remixes. http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/t...002-6105604-4144838?v=glance&s=music&n=507846

I think we should play Ian Brown's F.E.A.R. (U.N.K.L.E Remix) before each match. Its one of the best friggin songs ever made.

I saw Kruder & Dorfmeister already mentioned - I wore that a bit thin this summer so they're getting a break. ...but most excellent.

I'm going coast to coast on an old school tip -
    - Groove Collective (NYC)
    - Liquid Soul (Chi)
    - Prince (freak nasty period- MLP)
    - The Time (ibid)
    - Tower of Power (gimme that Oakland Soul)
    - Slapbak (LA)
    - George Clinton (planet Omicron Persei 8)

Best new pickup this year - "Supreme Beings of Leisure" - wonderful chillout

Actually, there is a "modern" recommendation I can make based off your list - I picked up "The Magic Hour" from Wynton Marsalis Quartet. It's a nice mix of standard jazz quartet fare with a touch of Wynton's trademark experimentation. Also some help from Dianne Reeves and Bobby Mc Ferrin. Very minimal production really highlights, IMO, the virtuosity of the artists. Tasty.

Thanks - When planning your off season training regimen, it's best to heed the words of our stoned brother George - "A failure to stomp will cause a hazard to your booty."

You are killing me. do I get "F.E.A.R" - just the remix - what CD is that on? I love the Dolphins were Monkeys remix...that is freaking awesome song. I played it before CT Wolves matches and had people come up and ask what it was.

Thanks for the tip, I have a copy of "a potrait of Winton Marsalis" that I really like. I won an IPOD in an office charity drawing a month ago and I have been listening to a lot more music. I highly reccomend IPODs, I have recorded 1476 songs so far and I still have 6.47 GB of room left for more.

    Thanks

You can find the U.N.K.L.E. Remix of F.E.A.R. on Remix of the Spheres. http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/A...84/sr=2-3/ref=pd_ka_b_2_3/002-6105604-4144838
They are selling it over at Amazon.com. A brand-new copy is insanely expensive. But you can also buy a used copy off someone that is selling it on Amazon.

Imagine that blaring outta the speakers at Bridgeview Stadium just before our boys take to the pitch. Brilliant!

Glashaus - Wenn Dast Liebe Ist
Idlewide - A Modern Way of Letting Go
    Keane - Entire Album
Masters At Work - Our Time Is Coming
Saves The Day - At Your Funeral
South - Entire Album (With the Tides)
The Ordinary Boys - Week In Week Out
The Streets - Weak Becomes Heroes
