Long Island News Through a press release (and posted on their site here: http://www.ladyriders.com/media_may_3_2004.htm ) the Lady Riders signed former Boston Renegades goalkeeper Meghan Frey and former NY Power (WUSA) midfielder Minna Mustonen to their roster. Frey will add confidence in the back and Mustonen hopefully will be the link in the midfield the Lady Riders have been missing the last couple of seasons.
Re: Long Island News Lady Riders beat the New York Magic tonight, 2-0, at Hofstra Soccer Stadium. Lady Riders controlled the game pretty well after about the first 30 minutes. Nice crowd, didn't hear an announcement but looked like over 1,000 which is decent for the W League.
