Did they do anything like this for the WWC?

The Olympics were slightly obvious in the nature of the teams on show, but I never knew the guys behind the serious business of football analysis even thought of the women's game as credible sport yet, to be viewed in a similar fashion to that of the men's.

I hope this means there's more outside views on the women's major tournament's, beyond the now traditional FIFA technical studies.

Notice they had much more detailed graphs on the men's games (types of passes and completion ratios, etc) but it's nice to see something.

Also, for the heck of it I calculated a few more capped-differential averages.

    2006 World Cup (men):
    capped-differential: 2.11 goals per game
    uncapped: 2.23

    Premier League 2011-2012
    capped 2.49
    uncapped 2.81

    La Liga 2010-2011 (I couldn't quickly find '11-'12 info)
    capped 2.45
    uncapped 2.73

    Serie A 2011-2012
    capped 2.56
    uncapped 2.72
