It will be interesting to see how the Liverpool fans react if this pans out. A few differences I guess is that Kraft has been sucessful in runing a sports team and already owns a soccer team.

...and Burger King is British. You still can't buy proper chips in there though.

I love Burger King fries. What's the matter? Not enough grease for ya?

    :)

Did you mean to say "running" a sports team, or "ruining" a sports team?

Because some Revs fans would make a different choice than Pats fans on this matter.

I wouldn't compare the Tampa Bay Bucs to the Milwaukee Brewers, yet Glazer's success in the NFL didn't make him imune to Man Yoo fans objections to the deal.

True. The big chains don't have decent fries compared to what you can get from a smaller burger place here in the States. Those look a lot like fries from Tommy's here in LA.

Liverpool didn't sell out to the Thai's and i don't think they will sell out to the
Yanks either. Mind you if they brought the team back to the glory days of Anfield , I don't think the supporters would mind who owned them. At least we'd see them on this side of the atlantic during the summer break more often.

Great! Maybe then we can finally get a team to play against the MLS all stars.

Now that's just not fair. I'm still trying to fine either a good chip or pie shop here in the states. I guess I'll have to look into imigration again.

Also, isn't Kraft just part of the group that's looking investing? I didn't think that the group was just people from the US (for my Canadian friends that also claim to be Americans). ;)

You can taste the difference? ;)
I wouldn't have tasted the difference between Burger King or McDonalds even if it hitted me right in the face.. Hehe

No one gives a chip about where the Chef is from only if the prdouct your being feed is good.

That goes for Soccer and Chips.

Big teams on stock market have no idea who buys them. just don't try and move them.

If you relocate a Team from liverool to say chester you'll lose the supporters and the team will go down in the profit toilet.

I pretty sure there's no suggestion that they'd try to relocate the team, other than a few hundred yards down the road to the new stadium. Quite apart from all the regulations banning such moves, there aren't exactly loads of cities of Liverpool's size without a team in England.

I been to England a few time and the fries you get and any Fish and chip shop blow away the best fries in the US, Mac & BKing are garbage!
We beat them on most foods but not fish & chip(fries), or bake beans or candy.
