I’m in agreement regarding some of our young up and comers, our offensive movement and incisive passes actually went up once CuJo, Carvalho, and Elliott were flanking Darwin.

Indeed. I've watched him playing for Academy teams mostly as a 6 but I think he can also play cb. I think he's yet another very solid prospect coming thru the ranks at the club.

Man United Fans: He's a flop, he can't even score in pre season
    Darwin scores a hat-trick
Man U Fans: It's only pre season [IMG][IMG]

That sound you can hear is Man Utd fans deleting all their tweets calling Darwin Nunez a fraud. (paddy power)

Carvalho's header into space for the 5th goal was a lovely piece of skill, pure instinct.

because we know that we will create chances.
    This!!!

We’ve been looking for someone since about last Xmas to convert those chances.
Our Fab Four seemed to have forgotten.

Yup if he works out to be the finisher he appears to be that's a big puzzle piece we've added this season.

all the players we have 'coming through' look as if they would be blown over by a stiff wind.
have we produced anybody that had any kind of physical side to their game in the last 15 years?

Curtis Jones is 6'1" . We've had Joe Gomez since he was 17 and Joe is 6'2".
We've signed big men when needed eg VVD, Konate , Matip , Nunez but we're building a team loaded with fast skillful talent and to be fair we've not done too bad so far.

Could he be the reason we didn't really pursue another back-up to Fabinho yet?

He’s only 17. Can’t imagine Liverpool will be counting on him to backup one of our most important players.

Gomez was 18 when he joined and went straight into the team at LB.
    Jones I admittedly missed.
