SM Murtoense been a powerhouse in ladies soccer, finalist of last year Portuguese cup, and the players are most from the Murtosa area, instead of going with men soccer they been a big supporter of women's soccer in the last ten year

It's not Andre Villas Boas, it's Andre (Tecnico Adjunto) for Vitor Fernandez... He was European Champion w/ Porto in 1987... Before coming to Porto which team did he play for?

Yes you did. Here are the correct answers:

    1. Andre played for Varzim before coming to Porto.

    2. Hugo Viana was the player who replaced Kenedy in the WC 2002 squad.

    3. Beira Mar beat Sporting in Alvalade in 1971. (0-1)

Congrats again to Forca_Sporting who is quickly proving to everyone he is a Soccer Quiz Wiz :)

my second cousin Maria do Rosario was one of the first young ladies coming out of Murtosa, she played goalkeeper for Albergaria for many years, at least over 10, two years ago she was still playing, I don't know if she does, she starting to take a lot of the young ladies from Murtosa to play in Albergaria

Thanks for the kind words, Chop. I just like seeing whether or not I can get the answers. The prizes, of course, are real cool but I just like to see if I can get the answers right. I have been told in the past that I am chockful of useless information ;)

OLD FART?! Who would've thunk that at the ripe age of 27, I would be considered an old fart! Actually, Frank, I thought that the 'Andre' they were referring to was the Andre that went to Chelsea with Mourinho, not the Andre who was a European champ with FC Porto in 1987 who is still an assistanct coach there. There are so many Andre's out there that I just got them confused...
