Since we have a "coupla" threads about
transfers already, I hate to bring up
    L'Equipe again but...they do have a pretty
    complete page on them:

My favorite: I'd really like Lyon to sign Eto'o...
According to them (L'Equipe), it's almost a done deal and Anderson really needs to be replaced.

I like Eto'o... we've seen plenty of him
    during the Confederation Cup.
He's got a meeean shot ( his goal against Brasil...)
and "killed" good ol' Marcel during the final...
    (no disrespect to Marcel)
    Pleeeease?
    :)

As you probably already know Eto'o has signed with Valencia. Have you heard any more news pertaining to the Lyon/Morientes deal. Last I heard, they were interested. And whatever happened with Djibril Cisse and Phillipe Mexes? Are they staying or going? Thanks and Vive L'Auxerre!

What do you think of getting Pocettino? I've heard criticism of him, but whenever I've seen him play he was quite good. Still, not much concilation for losing Pauleta.

I guess it's a small consolation. Bordeaux's central defense certainly looks to have solidified a bit with his arrival, as well as the signing of Marco Caneira to an additional 3 years. Even though Pauleta is gone, Bdx still has some quality strikers...I'm anxious to see what the management has in store as far as someone to run the offense and replace the losses of Savio and to some extent Dugarry...

So yeah...I guess it could be worse :)

when I heard Pauleta was going to PSG I was rather surprised because I thought he wanted to go to Spain or England. How did PSG get him ? Did he have any good offers from England or Spain ? Good signing for PSG it shows they are commited to being one of the top clubs in Europe like they used to be. Or maybe its just that they needed a big name to replace Ronaldinho to appease the fans.
