@LaMascara Had no clue Daniel Aceves was actually this good despite watching him plenty of times in the U20 league. There he just seemed a defensively-safe but ordinary left-back. Dude is actually fast AF and does Almada's aggressive wing style pretty well.
Yeah but I'm holding off until the second game before I get my hopes up because we looked great in the first game of last season as well. Very entertaining style though. Almost always there's only one guy at the wings whose sole purpose is to get the cross in, which works now because we don't have 2-3 guys uselessly bumping into each other near the wings. Instead they're in or around the box waiting for the cross. Leads to a lot of counters but we actually have a fast team now so it's not a serious problem. Lots of long passing / vertical passing also.
